aka my freaking sona. Oh yeah, she finally got herself a proper ref x'D


oh boi there's a lot to write for this girl, mostly because i want to get her sorted and set in stone, as i have been fucking around with her background for ages X'D The only reasons i'm putting her bio in now rather than later like most of my other characters, is because there are no more changes to be made to her bio. It is now officially sorted, for now |'D



Just some special notes that relate to the reference image: 

- The far right picture in the reference, is just a much clearer view of her scars since most of them are actually really faint and hard to see x'D 

- Because she is essentially a wrath demon upon death, as a ghost she now has a red spiral marking on her left shoulder. This is a representation of what sin she embodies. She is aware that it exists, and hates it with a passion, even tries to cut it off at one point. 

- She as a darker grey spot between her wrist and elbow on her left arm, this is a birthmark that she has uwu 

- Her patterns become more flame like when she's incredibly agitated and mad, this is part of her demon abilities XD

- She doesn't really have a set outfit anymore, this is more just one that I generally draw her in X'D She wear's anything honestly uwu The only guidelines I have however are these: She hates skirt's, dresses, and anything revealing. She does not wear anything that reveals her belly or back markings. She tries to hide those as much as she possibly can XD She also doesn't wear earnings, EVER, but she does occasionally wear necklaces, bracelettes and watches ^u^

Cause of death: Murdered by Leo.

Blood Family: Unnamed Mother, Unnamed father,  Leo (half brother), B.M (half sister), Draco (Half brother)

Outside family: A gazillion demons.

Abilities: She originally was able to create shadow weapons and figures. These creations took on a very whspy and melted kind of form, and look like silhouettes. When mystery touched or held them, they appeared solid, however when used on someone else, the part that hit the person dissipates, like mist, however it still has a lot of force to the blow, and can cause harm. Upon death, mystery's demonic ancestry starts to show, as the fox was suddenly able to create fire and turn to ash, which allowed her to move quickly from place to place, like teleportation. These abilities were dormant while she was alive as her mortal family linage dominated her demon lineage, upon death, she lost her mortality, which allowed for her demonic abilities to show. 
 


Summary of personality: Mystery is a variety of things; She has a bad temper problem, and can become quiet irrational and inconsiderate when angered.  She can be sweet and caring towards her friends, and enjoys playing a few pranks every now and then. She is curious of many things, and enjoys a good 'mystery' or puzzle. She has been known to become quiet cold and harsh towards individuals who have proven to be untrustworthy, and can hold grudges for a long time. She has a severe trust problem, just because she may be nice upon first meeting people, does not mean she likes you or trusts you. She is a very cautious individual. Since her death, there are only 2 individuals in which she was not cautious with, and blindly trusted from the beginning. She also suffers minor anxiety, and fears being betrayed by the ones she now calls her second family. 



Short Background: Mystery grew up with a pretty normal family. Her mother and father were decent people, they lived in small house on the outskirts of town, and she was doing ok with school. However, she struggled to get along with other people, and was generally left alone with very few friends for the time that she was alive. During the year before her death, she had run into leo, who had claimed to be her brother, and a man desperately trying to find his birth mother. After a few conversations and questions, mystery took leo to her mother, who then confirmed that he was in fact who he said he was. Time passed, and leo was welcomed into the family, and for the first time in a while, mystery had someone she could talk to. Unfortunately, this didn't last. January 11th, 2015; after being out at the movies with a friend, mystery had come home to the sounds of screams. Running inside, she witnessed her father being stabbed to death by leo, she screamed, leo heard. Insert a whole lot of arguing and generic "why did you do it?!" speaches here and then a very brief fight. due to being a witness, and evidently being seen as expandable, leo chose to kill her. They faught a little, but mystery was a lot weaker than the full fledged demon, and so was dealt a killing blow to the gut with a kitchen knife, however she was able to scratch the shit out of leos back while trying to get the knife off him so bonus. OK now she's dead, house got burned down to hide evidence, and now mystery is stuck in purgatory because she wants revenge on leo for murdering her and her family and betraying her trust uwu She also met Mia, B.m, Jane and fay during her first year as a ghost, and now the 5 girls live together in a house in the woods.

Just before I continue, I will be writing several jounrals/documents that detail specific things relating to demons, and the afterlife and how it works. When this is done in however many years that takes, I will be linking it here as it will explain why leo want's mystery dead so bad, but will also add more depth as to why she's stuck in purgatory to begin with X'D It'll be too much if I write that all here X'D

In depth Personality and Bio

In her early years, mystery was a naive, sweet, socially awkward fox, she saw no problem with helping anyone who needed it and trusted people too easily. This was a major problem, numerous people misused her for that kindness, not in a severe way, It was mostly just asking for answers in class for tests and such, which did get her in trouble on occasion. As to trusting people, it was much more severe. During her earlier school years, she was friends with a group of people whom she saw as close pals, but had only really held her close as a way to use her as the butt for jokes. At first she didn't notice or care, but after a few years it begun to sink in what had been going on, and eventually not only did she loose trust in a lot of people, but after cutting herself from the group, she had become more isolated within the school yard. At home it wasn't too much better, Being the only teenager in the family,  family gatherings meant nobody really spoke to her. The younger kids played together, and the adults spoke with each other, leaving mystery quiet alone. This combined with her broken trust with friends, was a big part in her blind trust in Leo and was a big reason as to why he was able to get so close to the family. 

Upon dying, her broken trust took a very different turn. Upon death her feelings of betrayal and hatred warped a little, causing her to enter purgatory as a very very vengeful spirit. This is the curse of purgatory. As a ghost, she was more of a demon than in life. She was angrier, lacked control, had a complete disregard for others, and was all for hurting others to get to the one she wanted dead. It was a huge change from who she used to be, However as are the rules of purgatory, Mystery was assigned a guardian to help her go down the path she was supposed to go down. Although, the person assigned to her, was a complete accident due to the individual being a retired guardian who wanted to enjoy her after life, B.M. At first, Mystery showed a very clear distrust in B.M, constantly trying to get away from her, and lashing out a lot at the demon. It didn't help that B.M looked a bit like the guy who killed her, But with every attempt to get away, B.M only got closer, and kept following her. Popping up behind the fox when she least expected. After 2 weeks of this, mystery eventually snapped at B.M, begging the demon to just leave her be. It was at this point that the road to 'recovery' started. After snapping, the two finally had a full conversation, talking of why mystery was dead, why B.M was there, and what they were before they died. B.M didn't reveal much about herself, but she got mystery to talk long enough that she calmed down a little. From this point on B.M helped the fox regain a bit of her old personality, and helped the fox go back onto a good path again, rather than one of destruction. Although mystery still wanted leo dead for quiet a long time, she resided to just waiting till the demon came looking for her, since unfortunately for them, once of them needed to disappear in order for the other to live normally again. Throughout the first year of purgatory, mystery discovered her fire abilities, and how to control them, as well as discovering what happens with half demons after death thanks to B.M and her well versed knowledge on the matter. They also discovered that mystery could not move far from the burnt remains of her house, unfortunately due to being a murder victim, she was somewhat stuck to the area. Later in the year it was also discovered that B.M was leo's half sister (her father is leo's biological father), which did spark a bit of a fight between the two, mostly because mystery once again felt that b.m didnt trust her and felt betrayed because of this, but the two quickly made up after. During this time Mystery discovered that Leo had a history of murdering family members, and that B.M was a victim as well, This sparked a new found anger in in mystery, which caused her to partially go back to being a temperamental and wrathful being, but with b.m around, it didn't take long for this to pass. The two formed a much stronger sibling bond, and mystery had begun to become kind and caring again, even becoming a little protective over B.M, and worrying for her health. By the next year, the two were inseparable, and had begun to make friends with few other ghosts that had wondered into the area. Throughout the year the group of ghosts had slowly become close, and even opted to living together in an abandoned building that was just near the town. As their friendships grew, mystery's personality changed again, for better this time. As she got to know jane, she had discovered a new found love for playing pranks, and making bad jokes. She enjoyed having fun, and training with the child like ghost, and loved to play tricks on b.m. It made purgatory more fun. Mia helped her learn patience and rationality, and even helped the fox control her anger a little. Fay helped her break out of her shell and talk more openly towards the group, And together they had grown to be a rather charming little family. 
 
Currently, mystery is now a friendly, mischievous and curious fox. She has become rather fond of what she has, and no longer seeks revenge for her death, but rather just peace of mind and hopes that her after life remains peaceful and kind. She still has a temper problem, however she has learnt to control her anger a bit better. She still distrusts others and unfortunately that's not something that's going to change. 

In her future, mystery will once again go through a massive change in personality as circumstances in her life begin to warp and change. Although she no longer wishes to kill leo, he still wants her dead in order to no only cut ties with her, but he hopes that with mystery's death, the scars she left on him will finally disappear, and with it all ties with mortals and anything related to mortals. Because of this, in her later life, leo will become more persistent, and will begin to torment her, not only for fun, but in the hopes that she will destroy herself instead of him once again having to murder her. Due to this she begins to develop anxiety, and begins to worry more than she used to. She stays closer to the house, and trains harder so that if leo ever shows his face, she can get rid of him once and for all, not because she wants to, but because she has to in order to end the torment that he causes. She becomes driven by her anxiety and fears. She will still be kind and caring and all towards her friends, but when they aren't around, she becomes a mess. She doesn't sleep, and due to a specific kind of torture that leo does during this time, she begins to avoid all reflective surfaces. She slowly goes mad over it.
