The rebels:

The rebels are a large group, almost a mini town of people who have abandoned the kings grounds due to his cruel rein. Their army is smaller than the kings, but are skilled in deceit, agility and stealth. They can fight fairly well head on with the army, but rely a lot more on surprise attacks to win battles. Their agility and stealth is due to their environment, as they have learnt to use it to their advantage.

Their are several camps situated in the forests around the entire kingdom that the king rules. Only 4 camps are used as an actual camp, the largest of the four is where the main group is situated. The main group is like a town, adults, children and elders reside here, a long with a third of the rebels army. The children and elders, a long with any injured or pregnant people are kept in the base at all times, and  if the base was ever attacked, are the first to be evacuated.

Everyone goes through basic combat training, so that they are able to protect themselves if they were to get into a fight with the king's forces. Those who choose to be part of the main army receive advanced training and learn skills that will aid them further in battles, as well as teamwork training.

The rebels are a tight nit group who look out for one another. They always have each other's backs. Children and adults care for the elders and the sick/injured, the elders look out for the young ones and share their knowledge and everyone helps teach each other new things so that they can all grow.

Each of the 4 bases communicate through messengers and carvings on trees through the forest. messengers work at night, and are are mostly birds, as with their ability to fly have proven to be a quicker and more efficient group who get the message to other camps faster than most of the other groups. Spies also help convey messages between camps and people within the kingdom, once again done at night where it is less likely that they will be spotted.

The bases are very well hidden, and have yet to be found. The other bases that the rebels own, are less well hidden, and have a much different purpose to that of the four main camps.

The king's followers:

The kings followers is mostly the army and those working inside the castle. Maids and peasants are not included in this group. The kings followers are a much less caring group, though there are a few exceptions. Many of his follower's are calculating and rely more on their strength and numbers to take down the rebel's. The army itself have the advantage when going face to face with their enemies, but do not fare well when ambushed. However they are quick to gain an advantage over the opponent, weather through numbers, their strength, or unfair tactics.

The king's followers are not as tight nit as the rebels, and have a colder attitude towards one another. They are devout and loyal to the king, though they generally don't listen to orders. Many members are also SCARED of the king, which is why they show such devotion to him. Others enjoy the suffering if the kingdom and follow him for that reason.

The army as a whole, is feared by everyone in the kingdom, almost as feared as the king himself. They tend to use this to their advantage.

The kings circle of loyalty:
These people are part of the king's followers, however they show complete devotion to the king, even when faced with death. These people will be a key part in the final chapter. They are cunning, intelligent, scheming and know the art of blackmail and destruction. They are feared.

The aristocrats:
The aristocrats are the royals who were part of the old king's family and were forced to live under the new kings rule. They are still part of the royal line as the king believes he can use them for his schemes. These people remain silent, and are on the good side. They will tend to help people in town if they get the chance, and act as the 'vigilantes' at times. They stand for the people.

The peasants/civilians:
These are the bystanders, and the people who suffer the most under the kings rule. They are hit hard by taxes, fear the king and if they don't obey, they are sent to be a slave, to be tortured, or to be killed. They suffer the most in this cruel world, and many cannot escape.
due to lack of information and some questions, this has been created. It is still a WORK IN PROGRESS and will be changed A LOT.

As it stands, this is the basic outline of the different groups that play a part in the "don't mess with a king" comic. I have left a lot out, as there are bits and pieces that i'd like to keep a secret. For instance the kings loyal circle, and the aristocrats. The rebels are by far the most developed group, but that is due to them being a singular party, and having only 2 divisions. The army, and its civilians. The kingdom is broken into about 6 or 7 parts, making it a lot less developed in comparison as each section needs to be developed as separate bodies.

I hope this helps out guys ^^
